Poetry. But You Came

Many times
I feel I can’t bear
*the unbearable lightness
of being*
of going to work every day
putting all my effort and energy
into a 9 to 5 job
But you came
You enlightened my life
You gave me some hope
at the end of the day
You brought joy
excitement
and surprise
to the vicious cycle of life
You triggered new friendship
and readership
as precious as
the last leaf
lingering on the Autumn tree

What’s more fun
than playing with words
thoughts
feelings
and ideas
by the piers
along the beach
near the waterfalls
in the rain
under the sun
What’s more fun?

*A title of one of Milan Kundera’s novels
